CMEC & CMLEG Join Hands for World Cleanup Day 2025

September 27, 2025 – Floriana, Malta

In the spirit of environmental responsibility and community service, the Central Malta Eagles Club and the Central Malta Lady Eagles Group proudly participated in the World Cleanup Day 2025, held on September 27, 2025, in coordination with the Floriana Local Council, Malta.

The event brought together volunteers from all walks of life, united by a shared mission to create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment. Mga Kuya and Ate from CMEC & CMLEG, known for their unwavering dedication to humanitarian and civic causes, stepped up once again to take part in this global movement.

A Global Movement with Local Impact

World Cleanup Day is a worldwide initiative that engages millions of volunteers across more than 150 countries to tackle the global waste problem. In Malta, the Floriana Local Council spearheaded the local cleanup drive, mobilizing organizations, residents, and civic groups — including the Eagles — to take meaningful action.

With gloves on and garbage bags in hand, the Central Malta Eagles and Lady Eagles rolled up their sleeves and worked alongside fellow volunteers to clean up public spaces, parks, streets, and waterfront areas in Floriana. Their participation not only improved the local environment but also inspired others to take part in sustainable practices.

Eagles in Action: Brotherhood in Service

As members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles), the Central Malta Eagles Club once again demonstrated their core principle: “Service Through Strong Brotherhood.” Their presence in community activities like this affirms their commitment to environmental stewardship, volunteerism, and civic responsibility.

“We serve not only with our hands but with our hearts. Cleaning the environment is a direct way of giving back to our community and preserving it for future generations,” shared one participating Eagle member.

A Message of Unity and Responsibility

The event concluded with a collective sense of achievement and renewed dedication to protecting the planet. The Central Malta Eagles Club and Lady Eagles Group extended their gratitude to the Floriana Local Council for organizing the initiative and called on fellow citizens to continue making conscious efforts toward a cleaner Malta — and a better world.
