In a powerful show of unity, compassion, and true Filipino spirit, TFOE (PE) Central Malta Eagles Club and Central Malta Lady Eagles Group actively participated in “Bayanihan at Musika for Cebu”, a heartfelt fundraising event held on October 5, 2025, to support the victims of the recent earthquake in the Philippines.

The event, organized by Filipino Bayanihan sa Malta (FiBAM), brought together the Filipino community and its allies for a night of music, solidarity, and generosity — raising a total of €2,161.94 to aid earthquake-stricken communities in Cebu, Philippines. 

Eagles of Service: Supporting with Heart and Action

Known for their unwavering dedication to humanitarian efforts, the Central Malta Eagles and Lady Eagles were among the key supporters and volunteers during the event. Living by their guiding principle of “Service Through Strong Brotherhood”, the Eagles once again rose to the call of duty — not just as attendees, but as active volunteers and contributors to the cause.

Whether through manpower, coordination, moral support, or donations, the Central Malta Eagles showed that being an Eagle means stepping up when our fellow countrymen need us the most.

 Music, Unity, and Bayanihan

Held in a festive atmosphere filled with performances, food, and cultural pride, Bayanihan at Musika for Cebu reminded everyone of the enduring Filipino tradition of “Bayanihan” — the spirit of communal unity and cooperation. Artists and volunteers lent their talents while the community opened their hearts and wallets for the victims in need.

The proceeds will directly support relief operations and rebuilding efforts in affected areas in Cebu, helping families who lost their homes and livelihoods due to the devastating quake.

A Message of Hope and Solidarity

“When we come together — wherever we are in the world — we prove that distance cannot break the bonds of brotherhood and compassion. This is what being an Eagle is all about,” shared a member of the Central Malta Eagles Club during the event.

Both the Central Malta Eagles Club and Lady Eagles Group expressed their gratitude to Filipino Bayanihan sa Malta (FiBAM) for initiating the effort, and to all those who gave their time, energy, and resources to the cause.
