ST. JULIAN’S, MALTA — The Central Malta Eagles Club (CMEC) and Central Malta Lady Eagles Group (CMLEG), under the umbrella of the United Schengen Region (USR) of The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) – TFOE (PE), recently conducted their Club Election of Officers for Eagle Year (EY) 2027, reaffirming the organizations’ commitment to democratic participation, electoral integrity, and every qualified member’s right to choose their leaders.
The election was conducted in connection with Club Memorandum No. 15, s. 2026, concerning the 9th General Membership Meeting cum Election of New Sets of Officers for EY 2027, and was anchored on the principles and provisions of the TFOE (PE) Magna Carta and the 2026 Omnibus Election Code.
A key feature of the electoral process was the implementation of secret balloting, allowing qualified members to cast their votes freely and confidentially. This process was observed to safeguard the right to vote, freedom of choice, and secrecy of the ballot, giving each voter the opportunity to select the candidates they believed should lead CMEC and CMLEG for the coming Eagle Year without undue influence or disclosure of their individual choices.
The election demonstrated the importance of active membership participation in shaping the future leadership of the Club and Lady Eagles Group. Through the exercise of their voting rights, members were given a direct voice in determining the officers who will carry the responsibilities of leadership, service, fellowship, and organizational development for EY 2027.
As constituent organizations operating under the United Schengen Region, CMEC and CMLEG continue to uphold the principles, policies, and organizational standards of The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) while fostering unity and responsible leadership among Eagles and Lady Eagles in Malta.
The electoral proceedings were held at the CMEC/CMLEG Nest, Room 2, St. Julian’s Conference Center, Malta, where members gathered not only to fulfill an important organizational responsibility but also to strengthen the values of unity, transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership within the organization.
The conduct of the election further underscored the principle that leadership within the organization carries the trust and confidence of its membership. Through a structured and confidential electoral process, CMEC and CMLEG provided their members with an opportunity to participate meaningfully in the governance and future direction of their respective organizations.
As CMEC and CMLEG prepare to welcome their new set of officers for Eagle Year 2027, the recently concluded election marks another important chapter in their continuing commitment to good governance, strong fellowship, organizational integrity, and service to the community under the banner of the United Schengen Region.
